Allie Fischer had participated in Lintons’ culinary program at The Vanguard School for a few years and, after noticing her exceptional skill set and enthusiasm, we asked if we could hire her as a part-time food service associate. She was excited about the experience and the opportunity. Allie was hired in 2014 while she was still a student at The Vanguard School. She spent several hours in the kitchen in addition to attending her classes.
Allie continues to be a valuable asset as a part-time Lintons food service associate. Some of her responsibilities include assisting the current culinary students with making wraps and salads, prepping necessary items for lunch, taking and recording temperatures for food and equipment, and keeping the kitchen sparkling clean.
