Friday, May 1 was the 8th annual School Lunch Hero Day — a day dedicated to recognizing our hard-working foodservice professionals. Between preparing healthy meals, adhering to strict nutrition standards, navigating food allergies, and offering service with a smile, our foodservice associates are true heroes. Although school was out during this year’s SLHD, many of our associates were still working hard to serve the community during the COVID-19 pandemic. School Lunch HERO Day has never rang more true!
