Family Style

Our children deserve a sound nutritional foundation so that they can grow, learn, and thrive. School lunch is an amazing opportunity to ensure students are eating nutritious foods and developing their food literacy skills so that they are empowered to make healthy, responsible choices throughout their lives. To give students this lifelong foundation, Lintons Food Service Management has joined forces with Vetri Community Partnership's Eatiquette Program. This school lunch program brings fresh, nutritious, from-scratch meals to lunchrooms across the region.

Food Fit Philly

Lintons is proud to partner with Food Fit Philly and Riverview Home. Food Fit Philly is a City of Philadelphia initiative with a mission to provide its residents with the educational tools they need for a healthy, active, and smoke-free lifestyle. Lintons' Corporate Dietitian Andrea McHugh and Food Fit Philly collaborated to achieve this goal.

Community Works

Lintons' Community Works Program has partnered with Merakey to provide supported employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities in Lintons facilities. This program, now in its 15th year, assists in developing job-related and interpersonal skills for these individuals while contributing to the daily needs of the facility. The focus is on finding a position that meets their interests, needs, and capabilities.

  • Lintons cooks all meals on-site and provides students and staff with healthy, tasty meals. Our staff never ate the meals provided prior to Lintons. Lintons also made sure we can meet our environmental mission by serving meals on reusable plates, serving vegetarian meals twice a week, and sourcing food locally when possible.

  • Our patient family dinner was over around 6:30 and cleanup was underway. About 7pm, a family from Washington, D.C. (at least two hours away) who had fought high winds restrictions on the Bay Bridge and other bad weather showed up to see their loved one. They had been lost at least once and were hungry, tired, and upset because they had missed the party. Your manager took it upon herself, without prompting, to go and start preparing more food for this family so they would have something to eat.
